Join all the action on the second Wednesday of each month, May through September, at Cruisin' Downtown, presented by Downtown Toms River from 6 to 9pm right on Washington Street. In case of rain, we’ll cruise the next night, Thursday. Enjoy classic cars and motorcycles, along with entertainment, plus Live Music. Register on site to be eligible to win Best in Show trophies. Dates: 5/9, 6/13, 7/11, 8/8, 9/12.
Enjoy a day of fun for the whole family with 95.9 THE RAT at the annual Toms River Food Fest and Arts and Music Festival, Saturday, May 12th on Washington Street in Toms River. Co-sponsored by the Toms River-Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and the Township of Toms River, the Food Fest starts with a parade at noon, followed by lots of entertainment and great food until 9pm. Also enjoy the Toms River Arts and Music Festival. Come listen to live music, view art from various artist and crafters and enjoy a selection of food vendors.
Join 95.9 THE RAT at the 23rd annual New Jersey State Chili & Salsa Cook-off, presented by Downtown Toms River, rain or shine, Saturday, May 19th from 11am to 5pm on Washington Street in Toms River. Sanctioned by the International Chili Society, the competition is open to cooks from across the country. Advance vouchers for tasting kits can be purchased by going to downtowntomsriver.com or by calling 732-341-8738.
Join 95.9 THE RAT at the 10th annual New Jersey State Ice Cream Festival, Saturday, July 21st from 11:30am to 5pm on Washington Street in Toms River. A fun-filled day for the whole family with entertainment, games and prizes and lots of ice cream testing, including children’s and adult ice cream eating contests.
