He has been calling AI his "mistress" since the announcement... Um, ok.   Idol has been scrambling to find a replacement for him. Here's an idea, guys...you can't keep the show going...and you haven't produced a hit maker in years.... CANCEL THE SHOW!   In other news, Jennifer Lopez has also left the show. I really can't tell you how excited I am for tonight...I am hosting JD Fortune's first show with his new band, Fortune, over at The Stone Pony...and it's quite the milestone. This is the first show I have ever hosted and I am thrilled that it's right in my hometown. So who's coming?!   The rest of this week is crazy packed too between interviewing the band 10 Years over at Starland Ballroom, hosting my very own Headliner Happy Hour, and doing the Bikini Bike Wash over at Harley Davidson of Ocean County, my head is spinning - in a good way of course! It's going to be one crazy busy summer and I absolutely can't wait... We've got Oceanfest in Long Branch on the 4th of July, I'm hosting the Fortune show at the Stone Pony on July 10th, and Gotts and I are going to be racing down the slides on the new King Cobra ride at Hurricane Harbor at some point this month as well - don't you worry - we will be videoing that for you all to see. It's finally been warm for a long stretch of time and I am loving every second of it. The beach, all the outdoor activities, driving with the windows open, and taking my dog on nice long walks...this is the best time of the year!   Speaking of outdoor activities, I really hope to see all of you at Brewfest at the Ballpark at First Energy Park in Lakewood this Saturday. There are two sessions: one from 12-4 and the other from 6-10. Get your butts there and drink some beer while enjoying the gorgeous weather! Oh, maybe because we still beat out our two biggest rivals in the playoffs, defeated all the odds against us to even MAKE the playoffs, gave the Kings one hell of a run after trailing in the series by a 3 game deficit, AND still took second place. Damn proud of my boys. Damn proud.   And now it's time to really concentrate on my Mets and baseball season, as well as summer fun in the sun! What the hell do they know about the current state of affairs in the country?!?   Now, I am the type of person who wants to flip off every person on the road who tries to shove their beliefs down people's throats via bumper sticker.
