It was a family affair for Nine Inch Nails the other night in Tokyo when Trent Reznor brought Mariqueen Maandig -- his wife and partner in the group How To Destroy Angels -- onstage for a pair of songs.
Reznor introduced Maandig as someone "really close to me" before she strolled on stage to perform HTDA's "Ice Age" and "BBB."
HTDA -- which also includes Reznor's film scoring partner Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan -- released its first album, "Welcome Oblivion," in 2013 but has done only limited touring; there's no word on what the group is planning next in light of Reznor reactivating nine inch nails shortly after the HTDA album was released.
Nine Inch Nails begins a tour of Australia and New Zealand with Queens of the Stone Age on March 6 in Darling Harbour and has dates booked into June in South America and Europe, including Lollapalooza shows in Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
