Metallica will be adding an appearance at Britain's Glastonbury Festival to its summer itinerary -- at least if British bookmakers have their way. The odds-making firm Paddy Power has made Metallica a co-favorite with Prince to headline the prestigious event, which takes place the last weekend of June. Metallica and Prince have both been given 5/4 odds, with Kasabian, Fleetwood Mac and Elbow high on the list. Arcade Fire has already been named as one of the headliners. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich told an interviewer last fall that Glastonbury is "the one festival to elude us," partly because its organizers have always treaded lightly on booking heavy metal acts. Metallica is currently touring in South America and starts its European run on May 28 at the Sonisphere Festival in Finland. The group is working on a new album, its first since 2008's "Death Magnetic," and has debuted one new song, "The Lords of Summer."
