There’s been quite a buzz lately around Black Sabbath, especially leading up to their big July 4th Hyde Park gig, which reportedly might be their last. However, now there are reports stating a new album and tour could be in the band’s future. This all started with an interview Tony Iommi did with Metal Hammer Magazine. Iommi said that the Barclaycard British Summer Time festival “could be the last ever Sabbath show” and that while he doesn’t want this to be the end, “there’s nothing really planned touring-wise after that show.” This obviously caused an uproar, but then Ozzy Osbourne did an interview with Guitar World stating that “I’m up for another Black Sabbath album and tour,” but if this July 4th show really is the final hurrah, that the band are “ending it on a high note.” On top of that, Geezer Bulter told TimeOutDubai.com that there are extra unreleased tracks from the 13 and that those songs could potentially be released one day with more new songs. Personally, I don’t know what to make of this other than Tony, Ozzy and Geezer need to have a meeting to figure out what the hell is going on, because trying to follow these three is exhausting!
