Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is prepping for the August 19 release of his new solo album, "Space Invader," but he also has his next project already in motion. Frehley tells us that it will take a different path from "Space Invaders," however: "I've already started the next record, which is gonna be all covers and remakes...I'd like to do remakes of some of my favorites songs that I've had over the years and re-do some songs that I've recorded in the past and definitely have some guest artists on it. I mean, it should be a fun process." Frehley, who covers the Steve Miller Band's "The Joker" on "Space Invader," says the track list for the next album is still being finalized. He's planning a fall tour to support "Space Invader" and has scheduled an August 12 appearance on NBC's "Tonight" show as well.
