Nobody’s perfect, not even heroes.
That’s the message that the rockers from Iowa, better known as Stone Sour, get across in their brand new music video for the song, “Absolute Zero.”
The track is the first single off of the group’s most recent album release, House of Gold and Bones Part One, which dropped on October 22nd.
As their frontman Corey Taylor explained to Rolling Stone, “’Absolute Zero’ is the anti-hero anthem of House of Gold and Bones Part One.”
He went on to explain, “It essentially lets you know that the hero isn't perfect, but he will do whatever is necessary. The video is loosely based on the fact that in the short story, the hero ends up in a very strange world and he has to figure out what's going on and what he'll do."
Part Two of the album series is set to be released sometime in 2013, while Corey Taylor’s comic series for Part One will be hitting the shelves on April 17th of 2013.
