March 5^th 2013 can’t come soon enough.

That’s when we’ll be able to get our hands on People, Hell and Angels the “new” Jimi Hendrix album.

According to Rollingstone.com the release will feature 12 previously unreleased recordings from 1968 to 1969. They give us a hint of what we can expect by telling us we’ll hear Hendrix experimenting with horns, keyboards, percussion and a second guitar on these tracks.

Hopefully that Mayan calendar-end of the world thing doesn’t happen next month because we want to get our ears on People, Hell and Angels in March.
