Alice in Chains’ music video for “Hollow” premiered yesterday (January 10th) and it features a chilling storyline that will stay with viewers for quite some time.
Directed by Roboshobo, the video acts more like a short film, and features a man on a space shuttle going through his daily routine so monotonously that he begins to loose grips on reality.
By the end of the 6-minutes, he has completely lost his mind, setting fire to the ship as he eerily watched the earth go dark before him.
“Hollow” is the first single off of Alice in Chains upcoming album, which marks their first since 2009’s Black Gives Way to Blue, and their second release with singer William DuVall, who replaced Layne Stanley after his death in 2002.
The album is due out in the spring of this year.
