If you’re feeling the blues of winter, have no fear, ‘The Fixer’ has arrived. Pearl Jam wants to make you feel ‘Alive’ again!
The grunge rock legends have announced a summer concert in Chicago at The Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field. No need to look in your ‘Rear View Mirror’ to make sure you read that right, the date is confirmed and official!
The group will make their presence felt on Friday, July 19th! Tickets go on sale to the public February 9th, at 10 a.m., according a Facebook page set up for the event.
The band tweeted out, “IT’S OFFICIAL: Pearl Jam will be playing at Wrigley Field. Will you be there?”
Pearl Jam and Wrigley Field had been teasing fans with various photos on Twitter, leading up to an official announcement. No need to speculate anymore. An outdoor concert on a summer evening in Chicago doesn’t sound too shabby.
While only one show is confirmed thus far, there are rumors swirling that a potential second show could be added for July 20th. The Chicago Cubs don’t have a game at Wrigley Field until July 29th, so the possibility is legit!
The band also recently announced that they will be rocking the Budweiser Gardens in London, ON on July 16th.
