Whether it’s planning the next album with the Foo Fighters, unleashing his new project Sound City at Sundance, or playing with one of his multiple bands, we have to wonder when Dave Grohl finds the time to sleep!
In a recent interview with MTV, Grohl said that although the band is taking a break right now he has “really awesome, big plans” for the Foo’s next album, the follow up to 2011’s Wasted Light.
No words yet on the release date for the record, but in the meantime the former Nirvana drummer refuses to rest!
Grohl’s all-star band, Sound City Players, and rock doc Sound City debuted at Sundance last weekend, marking his directorial debut. Grohl recently laid down drum tracks for both Ghost and Queens of the Stone Age and NME also reports that he has just cranked out another LP with RDGLDGRN, a new Washington-based band he met while filming at Sound City Studios in LA last year.
Head over to NME or MTV to read more about the busy sticksman and his projects and check out Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age performing “Hangin’ Tree” Live at Sundance below!
