Get ready to rock, Austin!

The 20th annual South by Southwest Film Festival has just announced 109 of the feature films set to premiere this year from March 8th - 16th in Austin, TX.

Included in the lineup are not one, but TWO documentaries about rock trio Green Day and lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong!

“Broadway Idiot” (dir. Doug Hamilton) will give us a behind the scenes look at Green Day’s Broadway punk musical “American Idiot” while “¡Cuatro!” (dir. Tim Wheeler) will give us a glimpse at the making of the band’s 2012 trilogy “Uno, Dos, Tré!”

Another notable rock doc premiering at the festival is “Artifact” (dir. Bartholomew Cubbins), which focuses on 30 Seconds to Mars’ legal battle with their label and the making of their 2009 album “This Is War.

Sundance favorite Sound City, directed by the Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl, will also have a SXSW premiere, with his supergroup, the Sound City Players, expected to perform.

For more about the other music-based documentaries at the festival head over to Billboard.com or the SXSW official website.
