Vince Neil Says No New Motley Crue Album Planned for 2013

In the cold of winter, it’s easy to lock yourself indoors. Catch up on your favorite television shows, listen to some music and browse the internet.  ‘Home Sweet Home’ is where the heart lies, after all. But fans of Motley Crue looking for a new album to jam to are going to be a bit disappointed.

Crue frontman Vince Neil has suggested that the group may release a few new tracks in the future, but no plans for another full-length album, as previous rumors had suggested. Neil has plans for new music, so ‘Don’t Go Away Mad’ fans.

The singer told Music News Nashville:  “No new album. What I’m hearing is that maybe two, three or four more songs might come out, to go with that song we released last year.”

For those that don’t know, Motley Crue launched a track, ‘Sex’ in 2012. Pair that song with a few new tunes, and Neil sees plans for a shorter length compilation.

“It will be something like an EP, not an album. If something did come out in the form of an EP, it would probably be in the beginning of 2014.”

While there aren’t plans for another full-length album, Motley Crue is determined not to leave their fans in the ‘Same Ol’ Situation.’ “Our schedule seems to have a lot of touring,” Neil said.

So if you’re up for getting away from this cold weather, there is good news. You can catch Motley Crue on tour with KISS in  Australia come March. Hop on a plane and throw another shrimp on the barbey!
