Black Sabbath Bassist Hints at Rage Against the Machine Plans for 2013

Rage Against the Machine
fans have been eagerly waiting in the wings for the band to make their next move for over a decade.

Now, a hint has been dropped that 2013 could be a big year for the group, though it came from a very unlikely source.

As many already know, Rage drummer Brad Wilk will appear on the upcoming Black Sabbath album, having filled in for Bill Ward after he dropped out of the project. During a recent interview with Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Metal Insider posed the question on whether or not drummer Wilk would be joining them on their subsequent tour, to which Butler replied:

“We don't know because I think Brad’s got commitments with Rage Against The Machine. So it'll probably be either Tommy [Clufetos] or Brad, depending on their commitments."

Whether the “commitments” in question include a new album, a tour, or both, is purely speculation at this point. One thing is for sure though - if RATM was attempting to keep their plans a secret, Geezer definitely spilled the beans!
