We’re still months away from the warmth of summer. The days of bbq’s, baseball and holidays are on the horizon. But fans of the band Trapt don’t have to wait until the Fourth of July to get patriotic.
Trapt is back with a brand new album, ‘Reborn,’ and it looks like 2013 is a year to ‘Bring It’ for the boys. The group has just released a video for their single “Living in the Eye of the Storm.”
The track is dark in nature but frontman Chris Taylor Brown is hoping the song will help people who may be in a bad place. Brown told Loudwire.com, “Writing songs like these, it helped me see what was happening in my life and it helped me turn a few things around that needed fixing. I’m hoping this song does that for a few more people.”
The video pays tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces. “For the video, I wanted to really give a shout out to the Armed Forces,” Brown said. “I just wanted to show a little appreciation for the sacrifice that our armed forces take part in.”
The video is only the beginning of a big year for Trapt. With their new album and now the promotion of their second single, it appears the band is doing anything but living in any kind of storm. A nationwide tour kicks off in March for the band.
