As you know, Disturbed lead singer David Draiman has been working with Geno Lenardo (formerly of Filter) on their new band/project Device. We now have the much anticipated single.
Vilify, gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the band’s self titled debut album that drops on April 9th.
Draiman provides MetalHammer.com insight into the band’s single Vilify and perhaps a hint of what we’ll hear on the rest of the LP, “It has all of the elements that identify this body of work and band. It’s an excellent introduction to what Device is.”
One the things that makes this album one to check out is the number of guest artist appearances. We’ll be treated to Draiman and Lenardo’s collaborations with Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello just to name a few. Check out the album track listing below to see all the guest appearances.
Check out the single and let us know if you think Device’s sound rings true to the band’s description of having been constructed from strands of hard rock, industrial, and electronic.
