Legendary guitarist Slash is mixing his love of music and movies with his latest project.
On October 4, right in time for Halloween, the former GNR guitarist be debuting his first co-produced film Nothing Left To Fear, and he will also be releasing the film’s soundtrack of the same title, according to the official press release.
The film, written by Jonathon W.C. Mills and directed by Anthony Leonardi III, is inspired by 1970s horror movies and brings to life a tale of horrific events that a family undergoes shortly after moving to Stull, Kansas.
Slash and Nick O’Toole wrote and produced the movie’s soundtrack, which features all the music from the film as well as two original songs: “Nothing Left To Fear,” performed by Myles Kennedy, and the instrumental track “Welcome To Stull.”
The soundtrack, which is now available for preorder, will be released on PledgeMusic.com, allowing fans to view art, stream songs, watch video clips and more.
While the film will only be released in select theaters, it will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and On-Demand on October 8.
Even though this Slash’s first film it is not the last for his production company, Slasher Films, with the rocker teasing in the official press release that there’s definitely “more to come.”
